What is the X MCP server?

Can Claude post to X?
Yes. Add HubPost to Claude from the Claude directory, or with one command in Claude Code, then sign in and ask Claude to schedule or publish your next post on X.
Can ChatGPT post to X?
Yes. Add the HubPost app in ChatGPT, sign in, and mention @HubPost when you ask it to draft, schedule or publish posts on X.
What can my agent post on X?
X posts, with text up to 280 characters.
Can my agent see my X analytics?
No. HubPost doesn't sync X metrics, so your agent can draft, schedule and review X posts but can't tell you how they performed.
What do I need to connect X?
You need a HubPost account and an X (formerly Twitter) account. Connect it in HubPost, then add the MCP server to your agent and sign in.
Can my agent change X posts that are already live?
No. Your agent can edit, reschedule or delete drafts and scheduled posts, but once a post is published on X it can't be changed or removed from HubPost.
Will my agent post without asking me?
Most AI clients ask you to approve each tool call before it runs. You can also ask for drafts instead of scheduled posts: a draft never goes out until you schedule it.
Is the X MCP free?
Yes. The MCP server is included in every HubPost plan, including the free plan. Plan limits, such as how many accounts you can connect, apply the same way as in the app.
